Todd, Minnesota has done more with less for years now -- exactly the reason why Hunter has made it clear that because the team won't spend what is needed to be more than a shoestring contender he's gone. I'd be shocked if he stayed because surely he'd know that they'll never sign Santana. Even if somehow they did sign both -- which they won't -- they'd be basically the same team as this year, which is not enough to get them where they need to be. Too many young, great players that will soon want big bucks -- combined with a cheap owner who won't spend his loot -- is just a recipe for disaster.
