As TBOB said...."they need someone to light a fire under them"....and, BOWA is the man. He's been
the Yankees 3rd base coach, so they don't have to look elsewhere.

And, Torre is quoted in the news today...."that his successor will have to a lot to deal with the new
generation of Yankee owners"....namely Steinbrenner's sons.

So, my pick is Bowa.....and if he becomes the Mgr.....I'm taking bets that he does not last past the
All-Star break.
