I see little difference between someone driving drunk, and randomly discharging a firearm - neither may intend to hurt someone, but if they do, it's gross negligence.
I'd like to see a mandatory 1 year license suspension for a 1st time DUI (with no injuries), with penalties from there. Let's face it - the overwhelming number of times someone is stopped for DUI, it's almost never their first time driving drunk.
