Ed, the White card looks a bit paler. Seems to me if the card had been subjected to sunlight for a long time it might bleach out like that... or if the card had been affected by a solvent.

Sometimes solvents would affect the ink and it loose some of its blackness, resulting in something somewhat purple.

If your card had a normal front I'd think you'd have a better chance of trying to get something mentioned on a slab about a violet variation. As it is, I doubt they'll go for it.
