Ken W.I understand your point, Matt, about introducing the old-style looking cards to new collectors who can't afford vintage. Its just that I (and many others) have been duped early on in our collecting careers by such altered reprints, having nothing to compare them to at the time. Sure, I should have done more research, known about forums like this, etc. But, when I was a newbie, I was simply unaware that reprint sets like this had been created. Thankfully, most of my mistakes were relatively small ones, financially. But as was said earlier, those cards just beg for fraudulent behavior. I wonder what the percentage of fakes on ebay were made from reprint sets versus fake cards made from scratch through printing images of a real card (homemade fakes)? I would bet there are many more of the former. Much less work involved.
