Not much help, but the guy in the middle looks like he is posing for a photo with the guy to his left. So i dont think its for someone that had died. But then you see the guy to the far right and it looks likes hes crying or something.

Looked up something and seen in 1910 Frank Chance suffered a near-fatal beaning, so maybe they made the wreath for him to get better?
