Bob Manningfor me it was the Salutation Exhibit set. I started the set from cards purchased at a penny arcade a LONG time ago. I finished it about a year ago after five years of hunting card shows and the net. It's not hard to separate the real deal from '70s and '80s reprints, but finding cards like Buck Newson (sic), Gabby Hartnett, and Earl Averill in decent condition was much harder than I thought it would be. And then there's Johnny Rizzo, who, despite PSAs price guide, was nearly impossible to find. I have one sorry example that seems to have been reassembled from shredder material.
