We just received September/October 2008 issue of
Beckett's Graded Card Investor.
There is a lovely profile story on Leon Luckey
For those of you interested, and who have not met
Leon, the story features a charming photo of Leon
with his daughter.
When asked by BGCI what are the most difficult type cards
in the hobby, Leon lists:
Four Base Hits
Just So
Niagara Baking
Washington Times
Fan Cigarettes
We know of only collector who has examples of four of the five of these
types in his collection. Said collector looks at, but does not post on
the Board.
Does anyone know of anyone else who has four of the five.
We assume Leon is the only person with a Fan Cigarette?
