David RI have been a slabbed card guy up until now but the wide variation in the grades of my slabbed cards makes me reconsider. If I cover up all the slabs and rank the cards based on appearance, they don't seem to correlate very well with the numerical grades. When "technical" grades don't correspond well with the aesthetic appeal of the cards, I begin to question the whole system. This is especially true for me, given that aesthetic appeal is a major reason for collecting the things in the first place. I just got the grade back on this one. Any guesses (there are no creases)?
