Ricky YSometimes we can find out about folks collecting habits through good ole question and answer. Here are some questions to answer. ALSO, many times folks will see what someone is after, or collecting, and contact them and be able to acquire something they really need because of it.
1. What is your focus today, in collecting?
Post and Pre war type cards
2. What are the 3 cards you need most?
E100, Yoo-hoo of Yankees with tab, Kalamazoo Bats player card
3. Do you like to trade, buy, or a combination when you do acquire your needs?
I buy mostly..but occasionally will sell stuff to finance part of purchase
4. Has the economy forced you to sell things you wouldn't have otherwise?
Not yet. I would only do that as a last result so not likely.
5. What is your absolute favorite series, why?
Pre war..I love the Ramly series because of the portraits and the ornate borders..it melds bb card, photograph and fine art all into one.
6. How do you enjoy acquiring your cards most- Ebay, auction, BST, shows etc...?
I would say 40% ebay, 35 % auction, 25% BST
7. What do you do for a living, how old are you and where do you live?
Research grant analyst for university, 49 and SF bay area.
