Michael SteeleNice thread Leon. I find it very interesting to see other Board Members answers.
1. What is your focus today, in collecting?
Pre War Red Sox cards. Pre War and a few 50's (Parkies) and 60's Boston Bruins Hockey cards. I love old Hockey cards. A couple of 50's Topps sets.
2. What are the 3 cards you need most?
A. M101-4/5 Babe Ruth
B. M116 Joe Wood
C. E-107 Redsox- Have about half, Cy Young and Jimmy Collins are on the want list.
3. Do you like to trade, buy, or a combination when you do acquire your needs?
I would love to trade but have not in quite awhile so I am buying.
4. Has the economy forced you to sell things you wouldn't have otherwise?
No! Waiting for the bottom to fall out on prices so we can buy more (ha).
5. What is your absolute favorite series, why?
T-207 because they are different (some might say ugly) and they were issued in 1912 and there are a ton of Red Sox and they were World Series winners in 1912.
6. How do you enjoy acquiring your cards most- Ebay, auction, BST, shows etc...?
I really like the B/S/T but it is a mixture of all of the above for me.
7. What do you do for a living, how old are you and where do you live?
It's interesting how a few dodge this last question. I am a Sales Manager, 47, and live 50 miles south of the Twin Cities (MN) and love it (although it's not Hawai'i, darn that David M).
