At a minimum, Uhlman photographed the 1889 Minneapolis, Sioux City, and St. Paul teams (perhaps more) with many of the images finding their way into the Old Judge set including yours.

Here is one recent example of a Uhlman cabinet being sold.

Your example certainly dates to 1889 as well, the year Milton West joined the Minneapolis Millers. The N172 equivalent has been catalogued as pose 490-5, Bending to field low ball.
