Look up the county in which Grant, Iowa, is located and call the local historical society. Since it's likely a small community, more often than not they will be as excited to help track down the details of the team and the players...PLUS they'll be able to add that bit of history to local lore. You get the closure you're seeking, and the locals in Iowa will benefit from your discovery for eternity. The descendents of the players might still be living in the area, too! Now THAT'S what makes this hobby so fulfilling!
