This set was produced by the Orioles in conjunction with Crown gasoline stations and Coca-Cola. The cards measure approximately 2 1/2" by 3 1/8" and feature every oriole player in the team's modern history (1954-1991). The cards were issued in 4 series (sets) with 10 12-card sheets per set. The first series was given away at the Orioles May 17th game against the California Angels, and the following day the series went on sale at Baltimore area Crown stations for 1.99 with an 8 gallon fill-up. The 2nd series was given away at the Orioles June 28th game against the Red Sox and again it went on sale the following day at Crown. The 3rd series was given away at the Orioles August 11th game against the White Sox and went on sale on the same day. The 4th series went on sale at Crown on september 16. This set is loaded with superstars from Orioles history (Cal Ripken, Reggie Jackson, Eddie Murray, Jim Palmer, Brooks & Frank Robinson and many more !)
