On average, in the high grade, PSA is tougher than SGC on centering, with all
other standards being equal. Therefore, PSA cards in high grade will more often be
worth more than SGC ones. However, if the SGC card is well centered in its holder,
than the cards will be more of equal value, with the caveat of the PSA registry
still giving PSA cards a slightly better advantage. Saying that, SGC tends to be
more consistent with its grading, so you'll also more often see a PSA card that is
over-graded in its holder.
