First and foremost, the ears are wrong. Buck's ears stuck out, not exaggeratedly so, but in a much more pronounced fashion than the fellow in that postcard. The postcard is shot from straight on, and you can barely even make out his left ear (ie his right ear, but left as you look at the photo). In the photo below you can see how much more Buck's ear stuck out (even in a photo taken slightly from the right).
