My Mailman's Baseball
After delivering numerous packets of cards to me over the years, my mailman showed up today with this baseball. He claims that it was given to his father, by an uncle who was an avid baseball fan. They both lived in Milwaukee. On August 21, 1929 the Yankees played in Chicago. The White Sox won 4-3. Chicago was the nearest major league venue to Milwaukee in 1929. Been in the family for 83 years. I couldn't make this story up. Any thoughts?
