Most of my sets' last cards had no rhyme or reason to them. 1951 -55 Topps and Bowman - the last card could have been the first in most cases, except for the '51 Bowman, where predictably, I waited too long to find the Mays and Mantle and eventually had to pay through the nose to complete the set. Since the Republican brought in oddball sets, I have to say that the Murphy card in the Topps Ringsides was especially difficult to find in nice condition, as befits its historical status, and the Rembrandt card in the '53 Topps L&S was my last one - I didn't believe it was really scarce until it took me seven years to complete the set.
