At the YouTube link above you can see Cliff Battles, Sammy Baugh and the Washington Redskins win the 1937 NFL Championship over the Chicago Bears in frozen Wrigley Field. The players said the frozen grass was like playing on razor blades. The period football music is a bit loud, but this highlight reel is awesome
