Talk about STUPID stats, I'm stealing the rest of this post from Joe Posnanski's article on The Athletic today :


Pujols homered for the Dodgers today (yay!) and StatsPerform posted this tweet:

"Albert Pujols of the @Dodgers is the first player in MLB history to homer for two different teams in the same metro area before the end of May."

And I say this with all respect: This is not a thing. This is a statistic that they would use on “The Simpsons” to mock baseball stats.
