Philadelphia PHILLIES is the correct answer......established in 1876, they have been the PHILLIES since 1883.

The Chicago franchise was originally the WHITE STOCKINGS.....it dominated the old National League from 1880 to 1891
with that great HOFer....Adrian "Cap" Anson as their player/manager.
