All I can tell you is that I talked direct to Wiffle and the son of the inventor is now running the place. He sent me a copy of the 1978 and 1979 advertising sheets and these were the only two years that they offered discs. There is no question about this anymore.

Lemke was also very wrong on the 2nd set (we now know as 1979) which were printed on the boxes. He said in the Std CAtalog that there were 88 cards on the boxes. There were only 12 boxes with 5 cards each so that's 60 cards in the set. The other 28 were on what they called "header sleeves" that had 2 players on each panel and were folded right through the discs. These are blank backed and I consider them a separate set. There are several of those up for sale on EBay right now.
