Those 89 Fleer checklists with positions are nearly impossible to find. I have opened tons and tons of 89 Fleer, and have never hit one. However, I was lucky enough to find 2 full sets of 7 cards each of the checklists with positions in 2 separate hobby factory sets about 5 years ago.
I am not sure how this happened, but at some point, Fleer must have decided against printing checklists with positions, but like certain Ripken sawcuts, some made their way into sets at least. Again, I have never hit one nor heard of one hit in any 89 Fleer packs. Good luck!
