I think he should never have returned. There was so much praise, honors, etc. after the announcement last year. This year, barely a blimp on the screen. Even the best has to retire.

Next is Aaron Rodgers. I hope he retires. I don't think there has ever been so much hoopla around someone retiring as Rodgers. Hall of Fame, yes, however it won't be based on his post season championship performance. 1-4 in NFC championship games is not earth shattering. The Packers have one of the most storied legacies of all time. They will replace and move on - just like they did with Favre.

Good luck to both of them, as I'm sure they will end up on the side lines or broadcast booth. Give the new guy's an opportunity to show some skill! They just might find another Mahomes or Burrow.
