The one, the only, the odd... Babe Ruth "the bird is the word" 1921 type 1 photo used for his 1922, American Caramel e121 card.
Ruth was releasing carrier pigeons to relay the score of the Cleveland/New York series from September 26, alongside Charles Fabrizo, the owner of the pigeons.
Sooo... Babe's..."the bird bird bird.. the bird is the word" rings true on this one.
