Not the owners fault he was traded, blame M. Donald Grant. Blame Frank Cashen for leaving Tom unprotected in 1984 and finally, the Wilpons for never putting a Seaver statue up which new owner Steve Cohen has promised to correct.
I love the Mets but they have never done right by Tom.
