Tell your wife she can spend all the money on herself. If there's any money left over, you have a couple of items you would like to buy.

If you are like me, during the year you normally spend a lot more money on your cards than buying presents for your wife. Now is your chance to balance it out some.

It's much easier for me to give you the above advice than it is for me to follow it.
