The other two books, one from the National League and one from the American League contain many Hall of Famer‘s from 1939 1940 Play Ball including the 1939 Ted Williams rookie and also a a Goudy Ty Cobb. These books were started by my great grandfather and continued by my grandfather. They are scrapbooks and include newspaper clippings from the day DiMaggio and did his 56 game streak and the voting that put him over the top for the MVP over Ted Williams in the 1941 season. They are over 100 cards including the ram lees play ball National Chicle. I have never posted or told anybody about these sets. Does anybody have an idea of the value or any opinion at all. Thanks you
Senate, those sound like very exciting books. You should start your own thread, this topic is definitely worthy of it's own thread. Then, if you can, post some pictures. Pictures will help the folks on here determine values for you. Looking forward to hearing more! Good luck.
