Bill, that is a nice early baseball novel. It comes in many bindings, although many prefer the chromolithograph cover you show. Your copy does not really appear in very good condition, but this particular cover is tough to find in great shape. The spine appears to gone in spots which would be a big issue. I do not see it bringing more than 100 or so unless someone is being charitable to the historical society or is not aware of what might be out there. I know of a copy that has been on the market for years at 1850 but that-is inscribed by the author, and has not sold.
Good book, Spalding connection, nice cover, but comes up from time to time in better condition.
