The one thing I hate - and I do mean hate - about the set is that they didn't wait a year before starting it. If Topps had waited until 2002 to introduce Heritage, they'd be able to say they're using designs from 50 years ago. "49 years ago" doesn't have that same ring.
Great point! I have thought about how the 50 year celebration could have been a thing every single year.
