Default Equal Time

When things do not go well in a transaction between forum members, we hear about it. Rightfully so, because that is a portion of what this board is all about ie. providing information which can help in formulating wise choices. But these transactions become highly visible, and due to that could mislead observers regarding the frequency that things go wrong even among board participants.

During the past month I have had several successful transactions with board members and eBay sellers, including:

Tim Newcomb - who again gave me an important, uncommon card; and again served as a consultant as well as a seller!

Adam Baxter - who reluctantly transferred custodianship of the Baxter Joyce to my safe keeping. I have assured him that his card will enjoy a position of honor in my collection. Again, thank you, Adam

John Billingsley - who came up with my fifth w514 (the other four are also from John). Thank you for your continuing supply of real cards, John.

Greg Schwartz BOTN - thank you for bringing the existence of black blue tint cards to my awareness. Crazy, fun and still inexpensive.

AJ theiceking - who we almost hung until we realized he didn't do anything wrong (except to sell what he offered: Williards which may be, and were, trimmed)

Rhys Yeakley - thank you for those M101s from a brewery! Who wouldn't want a brewery back rather than some peddler of other stuff?

And thats it for the past month. It was fun because of the friends and contacts I have made here and the training and exposure Ive gotten. Thank you Net 54.
