My high school just completed their first cross country season ever. I was the coach. 8 kids signed up on the interest survey. When we started, 16 kids showed up! We finished at the league championship on Wednesday (no state championships this year  ), and our best runner finished 4th. All the kids are proud, the admin is extremely pleased, and parents are happy.
