Default Rotograph orignal circa 1904-1911 cast iron/metal 48 postcard revolving store display

What is rarer than a Rotograph baseball postcard? Well, an original Rotograph cast iron and metal 48 postcard revolving store display piece of course!

I recently added this to my collection and look forward to displaying my raw postcards in it. It is somewhat akin to finding a unicorn for a baseball postcard collector.

The base is cast iron and the spinning 48 card display is made of a lighter metal to allow the display to spin. It accommodates up to 48 postcards for display which should nicely handle postcards in a sleeve but not slabbed.

The Rotograph Company only existed between 1904 and 1911 and as many of you may know it is famous in our hobby for the exceedingly rare baseball real photo postcards.

If any of you have a raw Rotograph baseball postcard for sale or trade send me a note as I would like to reunify it with the display.
