Default Who do you collect with?

Edited to delete stooopidity beyond what I like to reveal.

As far as color variations for cards, my primary interest is in the variations of the entire card, rather than solely the background coloration. Surely the compatitively inexpensive sets like w517s and Batter Ups offer this collecting option at a much lower cost than Leader Novelty, UJs, and other less common options. But I like the OJ variations best.

I once viewed a color set of early 1800s copper cents at a show. Colors from yellow, thru tan, brown, red, orange, black and green made for an impressive display. Arguably blue and purple were also represented. The natural toning of silver coins can be quite awesome, with many colors represented on a single coin side or both sides.
