Mike WI'm glad you sited some instances of Cobb's crazy antics, Bryan. Although it was common back then, he was a racist- and an all around jerk… and his mom killing his dad when he was younger doesn’t justify his behavior (just explains it). But these accounts about Cobb’s personality are part of what attracts people to him. People are always intrigued by eccentric personalities... especially when it is supplemented by greatness. Mozart, Beethoven, Jim Morrison, artists Van Gogh & Jackson Pollach, and yes, Ty Cobb.
