I'd be cautious of any of the modern cards that are missing embossing, unless I pulled them from the pack. There is too much material going out the back door of the factory and into eBay for my comfort. I actually bought one set of cards that were missing the final step and believe they are culls that went out the back door of the factory.

I've heard of PSA rejecting cards with missing embossing recently.
