My wife and I are considering a move from the Philadelphia, PA area to Summerville, SC area.

I am probably going to take off a week in early August to visit the area to see what it is like.

Are there card shops in the area? Are there card shows in the area and if so, are they small shows or larger. I am used to the Valley Forge show here.

Summerville is only about 30 minutes or so from the coast. Is there good crabbing?

How is the weather in general? Hurricanes? Heavy Rains? Hot and humid?

My son, wife and I looked at many things on the internet but I would like to hear from someone personally who lives in the area.

Any information would be helpful.
