The Post Cereal "Famous North Americans" article includes data about the two sizes of cards cut from the backs of Post Cereal boxes around 1930. Christy Mathewson is the only baseball player in the 32-card set. Little known background info about the set sponsor is also provided.
The "American Nut and Chocolate Co." article divides the company's circa 1950 promotions into five baseball subsets, ranging from relatively common team pinbacks and mini-pennants to exceedingly rare pennant premium sets--some that are virtually unknown to today's collectors.
