Also, you can gain a good reputation as auctioneer/seller by selling well cheap stuff. 1987 Topps and 1988 Fleer may not be Tiffany lamps, but your '87 Topps customer may be the first to tell potential consignors that you are an honest and reputable seller. Irrelevant to what is being sold, having a reputation for being a reputable and honest seller goes a long, long way.
