Robert "Bob" Groom. Pitcher for the Washington Senators in 1909-1913. 119 wins and 13 saves in 10 MLB seasons.

For the St. Louis Browns in 1917, he pitched a no-hitter in the second game of a doubleheader after pitching 2 innings of no-hit relief in the first game. With Koob, only teammates to pitch no-hitters on consecutive days.

His best season was 1912 as he went 24-13 with a 2.62 ERA and Washington finished second in the American League. His debut season was not as good, at least not until sabermetrics were invented.
