I have always loved the Old Judge cards of the Brooklyn & California League players and the Kalamazoo Bats Philadelphia cards for the outdoor shots.
I think the single greatest/worst background of a card is the 1973 Topps Luis Alvarado card. Where exactly is this game being played? I’m not convinced it isn’t an image of the Bad News Bears or something
