Clyde Lovellette and Bob Kurland in Helsinki for the 1952 Olympics. The athlete between them is Luis Omedes of Spain. Youngest competitor at those games at 12½. He was the cox for the rowing 4's w/cox. He would compete in Luge at the 1968 Olympics. His father rowed in the 1924 Games and his brother rowed single scull in 1948 and 1952. |
