Regardless of the grade the card is beautiful. One of the main reasons I get cards encapsulated is to protect them for future generations. I have a few cards graded by SGC that have been downgraded for similar reasons. I'm blown away by the 40 grade (a bit low) but as you stated it's not going anywhere. You made a great score on the card and if you want to sell it, let the bull board know - I'm sure you'll get some action on it.
