The card is clearly authentic. But it is also overpriced (in my opinion), overgraded (again, in my opinion), and potentially altered in some way or another. It is pretty obvious that this purchase is probably not in your best interests- like David said, why start with a $4k+ expendature when you have plenty of time to get familiar with the issue and typical prices realized on high profile specimens?
