I was actively bidding on the Wagner novelty card, but it went higher than I was willing to pay. Nothing is cheap anymore! Great result for the consignor.
I find the bidding structure interesting - it’s not 10% increments rather you must be 10% above the next bidder’s max bid, which may be secret and higher than what’s shown. This results in some odd bidding decisions and results. First time I bid with Hakes- overall solid experience
