Default Great true crime book

If your idea of good summer reading is a grisly true crime book, I'd strongly recommend The Man on the Train by Bill James and his daughter. Yep, that Bill James. A meticulously documented book about America (mostly rural) in the 1900-1920 period and a traveling dude that killed a lot of families. It's an amazing scholarly historical work in my mind and I learned a lot of things about early 20th c America. It's like 350 pages and I will no doubt blow through it in 4-5 days. Really can't put it down. Would strongly recommend.
