Rhett YeakleyPeter, I have to beg to differ that Sandy had 5 great years, he had 4. His 14-7 year he had in 1962 with a 2.54 era would hardly be considered "great." Also, in regard to Wood, his career era is a 2.03, pretty tough to beat that.

Edited to add: Ali, what don't you understand? He did do great FOR 4 YEARS!!! He deserves credit for that, but not to be in the same breath as Johnson, Mathewson, etc.
