I am looking to purchase a safe for my vintage cards. However, I know nothing about what I should be looking for in terms of features (brand names, weight, fire resistance, water proof, where to get a good price, etc.)

Please provide any suggestions you may have to help me make the right purchase. Size is not a huge concern (as long as it is delivered) and cost is a minor factor, but not a huge factor. I don't find paying for peace of mind knowing that my cards and other valuables are pretty much safe regardless of what happens (burglary, fire, etc.)

Should I be looking at a 1000 lb. steel gun safe?
