I'm a fan of small numbered, oddball sets.
- 1970's Kellogg is one of the best looking sets, would be a great choice
- 1969 Nabisco is one of my favorites, great images, 33 players (I think), lots of HOFers - Aaron, Mays, Clemente, Robinsons, plus one of Rose's best cards
- 1971 Milk Duds - another set, small numbers, lots of HOFers, plus Munson, Rose, and hand cut or full boxes add to its mystique. Black & white/sepia though
