This is the best thread i seen on this site. i live in nyc. I always love to see old store signs or old stuff in brroklyn on the building of what use to be there. Such as ebbets field. it is a big apartment complex now. But rumor has it that is is still the original wall from stadium hard to tell if it is. Also around block from ebbets field you can tell they had i guess it was a diner type place were you rode car and looks like they came out and served you. Along rest of empire blvd you can tell it looked like large store fronts. would of loved to be around in those days. Not sure if it has to do with this thread but figured i would share it.
